Need a Ride?

Curb-to-Curb Service

The Curb-to-Curb service is a point-to-point bus system that serves the public in Charlotte County including Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Englewood, and surrounding areas for a small fee. It provides the freedom of curbside transportation to and from your destination. 

Service Hours

Monday – Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is restricted to a limited service area.

Charlotte County Transit service is not provided on Sundays or on Charlotte County and nationally recognized holidays.

Service Area

Service area includes Englewood, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and the surrounding areas. Charlotte County Transit connects with the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) in North Port and Englewood. 

Making Reservation

To make a reservation with Charlotte County Transit, call, or e-mail us atTransit@charlottecountyfl.gov, or use the Charlotte County App. 

Reservations are taken from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Reservations can be made up to 24 hours in advance. It is RECOMMEND that reservations be made 96 hours in advance due to limited seating.

Transit Fare (per one-way-ride)

$2:00: General Public 

$1.00: Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) passengers

FREE: Child (under 12 yrs.) and traveling with an adult

FREE: Passengers’ aides/attendants or caregivers.

All guest passenger fares are based on the fare of the customer and they will pay the same rate as the customer for their trip.
